Allanson is a small suburb found in Western Australia. It is located on the shoreline of the Collie River and Collie.

Allanson History
A new railway station named West Collie started operating in 1989. This opened the opportunity for the development of new industries in the suburb. In the midst of 1906, West Collie was published in the gazette.
However, West Collie was demolished due to the commercial viable coal seams founded in the place. Therefore, a new town site was founded in 1911 and was officially proclaimed in 1912.
In 1906, the suburb was officially referred to as Allanson-- named after Arthur Alan Wilson.
In 2012, the bush school was restored after it was closed in 1989.
